In order to exhibit, companies must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Product is primarily made in Alabama OR company is based in Alabama.
  • Required licensing by regulatory agencies, such as the FDA, is issued and current.
  • Method of shipping is established.
  • First quality product samples are available for display at the Market.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Absolutely no prototypes allowed.

Each exhibitor's practices and actions reflect on fellow exhibitors and the Alabama Wholesale Market as a whole. Therefore, all exhibitors must abide by Market policies. These policies safeguard the integrity of the Alabama Wholesale Market, protect all exhibitors and guide companies that may be inexperienced at merchandising their products or services.

  • All exhibitors must have printed price lists or brochures available for buyers. This literature should include product or service descriptions and prices. This can be in black and white photocopied format, or a full color brochure.
  • All exhibitors should be as accurate as possible in forecasting selling arrangements, shipping dates, production abilities and their scope of services.
  • The Alabama Wholesale Market is a wholesale merchandise market, and all merchandise should be priced accordingly.
  • All exhibitors must have credit applications on hand, or some method to establish accounts with new buyers.
  • The Alabama Wholesale Market is an order-writing show, not a cash and carry event.
